Start the Server Manager, click on ‘Manage’ in the menu and choose ‘Add roles and features’.
A dialog box opens. Click on ‘Next’.
In the next step choose the first option and click on ‘Next’.
Now choose the correct server. Usually there will be just one to be available. Click on ‘Next’.
Choose than ‘Webserver (IIS)’ from the list.
Confirm the selection in the control prompt via ‘Add Features’.
The role will than be marked. Click on ‘Next’.
Don't make any changes in the sector ‘Features’ and just click on ‘Next’.
Same procedure as in the last step: Just click on ‘Next’.
In the following sector ‘Role Services’ please choose the services as shown below. Please always confirm the interim queries. Conclude everything and click on ‘Next’.
In the last step click on ‘Install’ in order to start the installation process.
After the installation has been ended click on ‘Close’ to close the assistant.
Test the successful installation by using a web browser and entering the address
http://localhost
